In February there was a wedding show held in the Argostoli Town hall. The first event of its kind here in Kefalonia. People from all trades were there exhibiting every thing from wedding dresses to flowers. Garbis Jewellers were there with a range of wedding rings and jewellery.

‘The Unification of the Ionion Island’s’
Every year on the 21st of May the Ionion island’s celebrate their union. On the isalnd of Kefalonia there is a  parade held in the main square in the captial Argostoli every year. This year’s Noki parade was sponsered by Garbis Jewellers.  All the locals came out to watch the parade and join in the celebration and this year they were joined by hundreds of tourists.
 
August 
Nikos Garbis was recently invited to submit some work for display in the "2nd biannual of Kefalonia Arts"  an extensive exhibition at the Theatre Kefalos, Argostoli from August 20th. The exhibition involved many areas of the Arts including Photography, Sculpture and Painting alongside Nicks Jewellery .

In order to provide a unique piece for the exhibition, Nicks 2003 piece "PLANET A" was made up to an exceptional piece and was the focal point among his designs which included beautiful pieces made with precious and semi precious stones
The exhibition was opened by the Prefecture of Kefalonia and Ithaca and was attended by many people from the world of Art from all around Greece along with a large number of the viewing public.
The exhibition was incredibly successful.

September
In September the island of Kefalonia was honoured by the presence of the world famous conductor Dinu D Ghezzo from Newyork, he brought with him members of the ICIA ensemble,
Nick Garbis organnised an amazing concert, which was sponsered by Garbis Jewellers. They played music from all over the world including new compositions written by Nick Garbis himself..
The concert was enjoyed by locals and tourist’s alike making it a truly magical event.

October
In October Garbis Jewellers sponsered the National model boat race meeting held over two days in the lagoon , Argostoli.
Model boat racers from all around came to compete in this once a year event. Fun was had by all.
